Biography
According to the crew manifest, Edouardo Fernandez was born in Spain in 1893 and his home town was Seville.
He was probably a professional merchant seaman, and he signed on as a fireman in the Engineering Branch on board the Lusitania at New York, on the 30th April 1915, just in time for her last fateful voyage. His rate of pay was £1-0s.-0d. (£1.00p) per month, which seems to have been much lower than the other fireman on board.
He survived the sinking, and nothing further is known about him.
