Biography
Charles Arthur Roberts was born in London, England, on the 19th September 1890.
He was a professional seaman in the British Mercantile Marine and served on board the
Lusitania as an able seaman in the Deck Department on her final voyage which departed from Pier 54, New York Harbour on the 1st May 1915.
When the liner was sunk off the Old Head of Kinsale, Southern Ireland, on the afternoon of the 7th May 1915, by a torpedo discharged from the German submarine,
U-20, he survived the sinking.
Nothing further is known about him.
