Biography
G. Rigby was born in Liverpool, Lancashire in 1877.
Little is known about him, not even his full forename, other than the fact that he served as a fireman in the Engineering Department on board the
Lusitania and was killed when she was sunk.
His body was never recovered and identified and he is commemorated on the Mercantile Marine Memorial at Tower Hill, London. He was aged 38 years.
